June 1:
Summer 2009!
Summer is almost here! It’s time to be getting outside and enjoying the most beautiful part of the year. The Kootenays in early summer are full of life and abundant water, the source of the green richness that fills the soul. The flowers are out and the air is crystal clear and, most importantly for us, the River is high. In other words it’s a great time to go rafting.
You might find yourself wanting to be in the water in the early summer but the lakes are still too cold for swimming! It’s a perfect time to check out rafting on the Slocan River. Make sure to ask about the gourmet lunches available for groups of six or more.
Did I mention rafting on the Slocan River is an ideal way for the whole family to have fun together? Kids and adults alike always have a great time! Our professional guides will ensure your safety and let you in on as much local knowledge as you like.
Check out the “Trips” page for all the info you need to decide on your adventure and then give us a call or email to book.
Also new in 2009; we’ll be starting to run a few multi-day rafting/hiking wilderness expeditions on the Lardeau and Upper Duncan Rivers. Please give us a call for more details.
See you on the Water!
