Summer is here! Finally…
It’s time to be getting outside and enjoying the most beautiful part of the year with some whitewater rafting in Nelson BC! The Kootenays this summer are full of life and abundant water, the source of the green richness that fills the soul. The flowers are out and the air is crystal clear and, most importantly for us, the River is high. We’ve been having an extended high water season this year and it’s not ending any time soon – there’s a lot of snow still up in these mountains. In other words it’s a great time to go rafting!
You might find yourself wanting to be in the water in the early summer but the lakes are still too cold for swimming! It’s a perfect time to check out whitewater rafting on the Slocan River. The other good thing this year is that the high water is continuing into the warmest part of the summer so that means great rafting and warmer water than we usually have at these high levels. Come out and help us enjoy the epic rafting season that we’ve all been waiting for!
